Sneak Peek World Premiere of the Latest Marx Brothers Place Movie Short

The Dog Days of Summer may now be in the rear view mirror, but here on historic Marx Brothers Place in Carnegie Hill, the real Dog Days have just begun!

Please join us on Thursday, September 16 for the Sneak Peek World Premiere of the latest Marx Brothers Place preservation campaign movie short - The Dignified Denizens of Marx Brothers Place - in the Meeting Room at the New York Public Library, 112 East 96th Street from 6PM-7PM (movie begins at 6:15PM).

Starring Jackie Browning (Leslee & Fabio's Boston Terrier) as Jackie the sexpot and Victor Lazar (Pei & Paul's Russian Wolfhound) as Victor, the hilarious little movie is sure to brighten your day & put a smile on your face!

The 10 minute film - a.k.a. The Doggy Movie - got a big assist from Hollywood when Film & TV star Kurt Fuller (The Sherriff in the original Scary Movie; the TV director in Wayne's World; Woody the Coroner on Psych; Joel on ABC's new fall comedy Better With You and Mr. Woodcock in Woody Allen's new movie Midnight in Paris) donated his time & talent giving human voice to Victor while the delicious Brit Judith Hendra lets us all hear just what goes on in the mischievous mind of little Jackie!

This very special event will also include the World Premiere of Brothers a 10 minute film short by Noah Diamond who is currently working on a book about the Marx Brothers and American Comedy. Diamond also donated his services - as Video Editor - on The Dignified Denizens of Marx Brothers Place!

Admission to the Sneak Peek World Premiere Film Screening is free: To help the Association defray NYPL Room Rental costs, etc. - tax-deductible donations to the preservation campaign to save Marx Brothers Place can be made by simply clicking on this link. Many thanks to all who helped bring The Doggy Movie to life - especially Jackie & Victor!
